Safari Zone // Silver & Riley
“Well, I suppose we could try using the food, though that apparently makes them harder to catch.” Riley reached into his pocket and pulled out one of the cubes in question, wondering if wild Pokémon would really be inclined to eat it.
“How does that make a Pokemon harder to catch?” Silver asked, baffled at the strangeness of the Safari Zone. The redhead seriously needed to do more recreational activities; he was seriously out of the loop.
“I can understand a rock could make it harder, but food…? What do they put in it?”
He stared at the cube, also wondering with a similar thought.
//ooc: Sorry for the slight inactivity.
“oaf” he let out the little sound as he was pulled from the wall. His eyes brows raised as Silver whispered to him, but he wasn’t going to make a big deal, it would just cause Silver to freak out. “Okay” he answered simply with a smile. Gold had done his homework, he wasn’t going to leave Silver hanging in the end.
Oh, that look on Silver’s face, he bit his lip, stopping himself from laughing but a grin had appeared on his face. “Well I said ‘lets save water’ isn’t that a casual topic?” he laughed finally, head back for the stairs “You don’t have to, I’m just suggesting it because I’m going to shower either way; oh and look at who you’re talking to” Gold winked at him, going back to give him a kiss on the cheek quickly before heading up the stairs.
A nice hot shower, that sounded nice either way.
“I seriously don’t know how to answer you sometimes…”
The redhead took a sharp breath, trying to cool his overheated face. By now, Silver knew he must have been as red as a Tamato berry. He was getting stressed over this really too much.
What if Gold found that overbearing?
It never had occurred to him that he was being fretful, compared to his normal, stoic attitude. Love really had messed with his brain.
Another deep breath and Silver found himself following Gold and grabbing the other’s hand.
“I need a shower too…” he muttered.
Gold let out a snort at his answer “Nah, it’s a nice place with fair prices so don’t worry about it” Gold wasn’t going to let him help pay either, it was his treat after all.
He was heading for the stairs, he needed to shower and get some clean clothes on; working in a place like the daycare meant that you didn’t really stay clean, at all and he had rushed all his work. Gold paused, leaning against the wall as Silver spoke up again “Yeah?” he asked, gesturing for him to come over.
A thought crossed his mind, grinning “Did you want to save water and come shower with me?” he completely expected to get hit or something for that.
“I’ll take your word on it,” Silver gave him a soft smile.
When Gold paused to look back at him, Silver kept his face down, not wanting the other to see his flustered, highly embarrassed face. And if he looked Gold in the eye right now, Silver just knew that his mind and body would respond to flee. He didn’t want that to happen.
Instead, he walked over to Gold and quickly pulled the other male closer to him, almost kissing his ear. Heart pounding away his chest, Silver took a deep breath before whispering to Gold’s ear.
“We can… I want do it tonight… okay?”
Quickly, Silver pulled away once he had spoken those words, anxious to recover his self-confidence and delicate pride. He came to a stop and quickly looked back at Gold, gaping at what the other teen suggested. And right after Silver finally made his decision.
“Shower… you… us…” Silver closed his eyes and covered his face, thoroughly embarrassed with no clue how to answer his boyfriend. Arceus, just how on earth did Gold bring out this flustered side to him?
“How can you just ask that so casually?!”
“mmhm” he answered with a little laugh, giving him a quick kiss on the lips “Dinner’s at 5:30” he answered happily. Any chance to go out and eat was a good chance to Gold, not to say that Silver wasn’t an amazing cook either; but pretty sure he’d appreciate not having to cook too.
He wanted to ask if he had made up his mind about later… But he didn’t want to push it and said nothing instead. “And don’t worry about price either, get what you want when we go” Gold knew Silver could be quite… Nervous when it came to prices and people spending money on him, but it was Silver’s treat as much as his, so he wanted him to get what he felt like getting.
Silver nuzzled him back quietly, feeling lighthearted today. Even though he didn’t mind cooking himself, it was definitely a nice change to go out and eat.
“I hope it’s not going to be too expensive,” Silver frowned, thinking later that he should split the bill with Gold.
It was still early to go to the Kimono Girl perfomances, and Silver projected a run-through of their day in his mind. Maybe they would stop by around some shops, or even stop by one of the Towers to kill time. Then they would watch the performances and then head to dinner. And later…
Silver flushed a crimson red, remembering what he had decided. But he still didn’t know what to say.
“Yeah I know, my dad gave me these before he… Well yeah” alright onto another topic, finding unreplacable things was more important then brooding on the past. Also, he’d comment on how sexy the redhead with messed up hair was later.
Giving his hair a little ruffle he headed for the door, there was a sort of doggie door so the Pokemon could go outside whenever they wanted “Pichu!” he called out, glancing around the yard, a Tentacurel poked it’s head out of the water at the sound, only to sink back in. He really hoped none of the bigger Pokemon got them.
Spotting the little robet he knelt down, giving it a little frown “Now, I’m not blaming you, but have you seen Silver’s gloves? They’re missing”
Silver opened his mouth to question him, but pursed his lips together, deciding not to divulge into it. Maybe in the future, but it wasn’t his right to get involved in Gold’s personal past.
He gave a huff when the other teen ruffled his hair, unamused that his hair was even worse now. While Gold went outside to find Pichu, Silver quickly grabbed a comb and fussed over the knots and tangles, before running out to follow after Gold.
Meanwhile, Pichu was coming back to the Daycare from somewhere and tilted his head up to the trainer approaching him.
“Pichu!” the Pokemon squeaked happily. However, at the mention of Silver’s gloves, Pichu squeaked nervously and shook his head.
He let out a sigh, alright, he found the Magby, and a Azuril, and all the other baby Pokemon of Pichu’s little gang, but where was Pichu? Coming back over to Silver her reached out, pulling him into a light hug, giving his back a rub “It’s alright, I get the same way about my goggles” he offered, pressing their cheeks together “Have you seen Pichu today? because the other baby Pokemon don’t have them” and even if Pichu didn’t take them Gold was pretty sure the little guy would know where they are.
Silver relaxed a tiny bit by Gold’s comforting, but the redhead was still worked up over his missing gloves. Where could they have gone?
“It’s that one special thing we all have… but it’s more of sentimental value.” He gave a sigh, flicking a bang to the side. His hair was a bit messy; it was clear that Silver had searched most of the daycare.
“Actually… no, I didn’t see Pichu,” he muttered thoughtfully, and realized the disappearance of the baby electric rodent.
“Did he go outside?”
“Actually, it wasn’t, not even close” he let out a laugh, laying down on top of the other, although making sure not to squish him “I just wanted to lay in your lap, but this is much better” Gold let out a purr, kissing at the side of his face affectionately.
“I’ll let you watch your show, but you’re my pillow now” he chuckled, shifting so he could rest his head on the other’s chest.
“Well, things sure turned out nicely for you.”
Silver rolled his eyes, but instinctively wrapped his arms around the other teen. “I’m fine like this anyways. Better blood circulation.”
Kissing Gold’s forehead, a small laugh escaped from his throat and he tousled his boyfriend’s messy hair.
“You do realize it’s a DVD?”
